This is a castle and is probably the finest place I have ever stayed. The owners were outstanding in their treatment of us. From their greeting when we drove up, until they saw us off the next morning, they were personable, warm, friendly, kind, and went out of their way to make us comfortable. They took our 2 year old grandson to see their calves and chickens. He was tickled to hold a freshly laid egg. The 16th century castle is beautifully decorated and feels very inviting. The grounds are park like. The castle is immaculately clean. It has all the modern conveniences we could ask for, while maintaining old world charm. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared and served. The price was remarkably reasonable. I can't say enough good things about this castle. I highly recommend it.
