Très bien situé. Entre mer et port. Proche de toute commodité.

We had booked for the three of us for three nights. I emailed the owners, and never had a reply, concerning my elderly father and the suitability of the apartment.|There is no facility when booking to choose an apartment. It's pot luck.|I rang to advise our arrival time and spoke to a pleasant enough lady, who spoke a little English, who gave me the code to the main street door and who told me that if it was No. 2 the key would be under the mat and if it was No. 3 the door would be open.||We arrived. Very good location.|No one to meet and greet.|This is an old building and predominantly wooden construction. There were 30 wooden spiral steps to negotiate to the door of apartment 3 and no handrail.|My father uses a walking stick and was forced to use the narrowest part of the spiral steps where there was a newel post to hold on to. Precarious to say the least!||The corridor from the apartment door to the kitchen/lounge had one side which was completely glass and the glass was filthy.|The cover for the bed settee (which we didn't use!) was musty and not clean and the settee itself was worn looking.|More wooden stairs DOWN, no handrail, to the two bedrooms, both with poor daylight.|Impossible to move freely at the bottom of the stairs when both doors were open.||One bed had a urine stained mattress.||One bedroom had a chest of drawers, the other had just a hanging rail.|Very dusty bedside lights and a fetching collection of flies in the ceiling light.|The loo and bathroom (it's only a hand shower) were back upstairs! The loo had a chipped and worn seat and the cistern was cracked.|No smoke alarms nor fire extinguishers/blankets in the kitchen.||There is wood and stud walls all around. It suggests alterations that have not been authorised and we felt that it was a case of taking the money and doing the least.|Bed linen was clean.|I've posted photos, as we're concerned that this is not a safe environment, and they more than back up this review.|We rang to protest but no answer.|We could not afford to move out so made the best of it.|Booking these apartments will only perpetuate this dangerous rip off, so please don't.|||
