My family (myself, wife, 9 year old daughter, and 5 year daughter) stayed here for two nights in June 2015. We had a wonderful experience. We stayed in the top floor, with the girls sleeping in the room with two beds and my wife and I in the room across the hall. The kids LOVED the swing set and the farm setting and my wife and I loved sitting outside and relaxing. The owners are super friendly, as noted in the other reviews, and the breakfasts were fantastic. The cute town of Blere is minutes away by car and has all of the things you would need for your stay. For 110 euros per night (55 euros per room with us needing two rooms) we really could not ask for a more pleasant experience. I strongly recommend it for families.

Excellent, clean, great breakfast. Proprietor extremely friendly and helpful. Just 2 minutes off main road from AutoRoute to Amboise. Arrived about 9:00 p.m. Proprietor was very friendly and offered beer and orange juice. Very clean, large room with double and one single. There are four units there which share a kitchen. Was able to keep an ice pack frozen in the kitchen freezer. No Wi-Fi but had scrambled eggs along with the standard other French breakfast items, croissants, baguettes, juice, coffee, hot chocolate, cheese, fruit, etc. Owner helpful in morning with maps and suggestions on what to see, when to see, and how to get there. Stayed two nights. 55 euro per night includes breakfast. Excellent-would stay again. Out in the middle of farm country-quiet but half way between Amboise and Chenonceau.

When Rick Steve's described this place as family friendly, he wasn't kidding. What a quaint establishment with fairly large clean rooms, nice showers, no TVs, and chickens just outside your window (don't worry, no bad smells!) My family of four loved staying here, the owners, though they only spoke a small amount of English were extremely helpful, and even made breakfast for us with fresh eggs from their chicken coupe. ||||Positives:||- Beautiful farm setting||- Location is away from any major cities, you really feel "away from it all", but can get to the lovely Chenonceau chateaux within just a few minutes drive.||- Wonderfully friendly and helpful owners.||- Breakfast is included in room's price.||||Negatives:||- Cash only, but as long as you know in advance you should be fine.||- No TVs, this actually might be considered a good thing.||- Wifi - is spotty, and you must be outside to use it. Je pense que c'est pour cela qu'ils ne le mentionnent pas : le wifi est disponible, mais c'est une option si vous en avez absolument besoin. Il faut absolument avoir une voiture pour venir. Je ne me souviens pas qu'il y ait eu la climatisation, mais je peux me tromper, nous n'en avons pas eu besoin pendant notre séjour. Dans l'ensemble, cet endroit était merveilleux et je le recommande aux voyageurs de tous niveaux, en particulier aux familles. Nous reviendrons.
